Calling All Writers!
Ambassador requires well-written articles by students and adults. For one-time publication rights and posting same on our web site, we pay accordingly: maximum article length 800 words: ten cents per word, maximum $80. We like crisp writing on current world issues, geographic areas, politics, leaders, etc. We do not want "oh-isn’t it terrible articles". We prefer perceptive description and intelligent analysis of problems and issues similar to what you might find in magazines such as New Internationalist, Utne Reader and the like.

Those are a few examples that surfaced in a quick brainstorm. If you have a specific issue that you would like to first run by us to determine our interest, simply send us a short query, preferably via e-mail. The quality of your writing will be the final determinant.
Through our newsletter and our Model United Nations Conferences and other programs, we demonstrate to youth that world and Canadian issues can rarely be seen in a simplistic, black and white scenario. North America does have a dominant viewpoint, but it reflects that of only a few countries in the world. We like to view all sides of an issue, and try to develop realistic, sustainable unique solutions.
